The publication "Building on Success" won the following awards in 2002:

  • Apex Award for Publication Excellence from Communications Concepts (an international award)
  • International Association of Business Communicators/Detroit Renaissance Award of Excellence (1st Place) for feature writing
  • International Association of Business Communicators/Detroit Renaissance Award of Merit for special print communications, 1-3 color
The second award was strictly for writing, while the third was for the project as a whole.
